Antonio Rufo

Antonio has participated in Emérita Tango since its first edition.

Milonguero, organizer and TJ of La Milonga del Sábado, in San José de la Rinconada (Seville).

Antonio is the resident TJ of Transitango milonga (Seville). Performing  since 2010.

He has musicalized milongas, events and festivals both inside and outside Spain, including European countries such as Italy or France.

Paulo Bernardo

Lisbon (Portugal)

 

Paulo Bernardo, former software engineer, currently runs the school "A Todo Tango!" in Lisbon (Portugal), where he works as a dancer, tango teacher, TJ and organizer.

Paulo has been working continuously in Portugal and Buenos Aires, where he lived from 2009 to 2010.

He has worked as a TJ at numerous local milongas in Lisbon and Oporto, Tango Upload Coimbra and Lisbon, El Motivo and TangoLab at Club Villa Malcom in Buenos Aires, and throughout Europe: Tango Festival in Lisbon, TugaTango Marathon, TangoJam Hamburg, Zurique Tango marathon, Vienna TangoAmadeus, among others.

Pepa is founder of one of the most emblematic milongas of Buenos Aires, "¡Viva la Pepa¡" milonga, and creator of the mythical "Tengo una pregunta para vos", where she makes a crucial informative work about the unwritten history of tango, counted by the protagonists themselves.
She counts with a wide experience as a teacher and TJ.
This year Pepa will be with us at Emérita Tango Marathon.

Cristina Bortolin
'La Porteñita'                                 Orihuela (Alicante, Spain)
Born in Capital Federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Classical dancer at the Teatro Colón, teacher at the National School of Dance María Ruanova... and tanguera to the core.
Her definitive projection towards tango and musical arrangement began a short time ago. She owns a milonga at Casa del Tango, in Alicante, and the  Oblivion milonga in Madrid.
She occasionally forms a TJ duo with Natalia Burgos, playing milongas in our country.
Cristina is a great unstoppable researcher of orchestras from all time, although she admits that a large part of her selection goes from 1937-40 years onwards.
She presumes that... "-vas a sacarle viruta al piso!"
It is the second time with us in Emérita Tango Marathon.

Victoria Cruz

Madrid (Spain)

 

Dancer and tango teacher with a long experience (more than 15 years), She has recently incorporated her facet as a TJ.
Her sensual and passionate style, matured during half of her life, also moves Victoria to her musical selections.

She has played in Bomboncito milonga (Badajoz), Suerte Loca milonga (Madrid) and this year she will be musicalizing for the second time in Emérita Tango Marathon.

Tireless and meticulous researcher, his selections will never leave you indifferent, for its elegance and balance.

He has spent more than thirteen years together with Patita TJ (Paca Fernández) teaching tango in Badajoz and Mérida.

He is, along Paca Fernández, organizer of Emérita Tango Maratón and La Maleva and Bomboncito milongas.

 

His musical arrangements have been danced in Mérida, Seville, Oviedo, Jerez de la Frontera...

Paca is founder of Sueños dance studio, Tanguera Arte y Danza dance school and La Maleva Art&Café.

In her professional development she has opted for and specialized in the Argentinean Tango, whose study and teaching has devoted almost exclusively her efforts for more than twenty years.

The love and passion she feels for Tango can be seen in her selections.

She organizes La Maleva and Bomboncito milongas, and Emérita Tango Marathon.
She has musicalized events in Spain and milongas in both our country and Italy.
