"From the need to share something that we are passionate about. And after travelling for miles and miles attending milongas and festivals in Portugal, Italy and of course Spain, another need arises, that of becoming hosts.
We are convinced that Tango does not need us; it is more than enough to be the protagonist. It chooses us and decides who stays and who goes. But it does need us to create meeting points for all those who love it and, as we said before, feel the need to share it.
That is why Emérita Tango was born, with the hope of achieving that meeting point between Portugal and Spain.
It is close to the great centres of tango dancers in the south of Portugal and the south of Spain. But as we are tango dancers and travelling for miles does not scare us, since we are here, it can also be close to the rest of Spain… and why not, the rest of the world…”

We are back with the same enthusiasm and excitement as always.
Our motivation is always the same…”to tango for tango” and nothing else.
You already know our proposal… dance and dance.
We continue with the same format as always.
Twelve hours of music.
Changing DJs every four hours.
Eight DJs with their different styles ready to ensure that the emotion we seek is constantly enveloping our hearts.
Because at Emérita Tango you are the most important thing and because if you come to dance we want you to dance.

A room of more than 300 m² equipped (tables and chairs)

During the milongas, a few snacks will be served to replenish energy
-Coffee, milk, infusions, fruit, various sweets, water.

On Saturday at around 1:00 pm we invite you to a small convivial aperitif in the room next to the milongas.
An hour to chat in a relaxed way with old and new friends.
We will meet again at the Hotel Romero in Mérida.
We remind you that the Hotel Romero offers very affordable menus for anyone who wants to have lunch and dinner in its restaurant.
This hotel offers spacious rooms and will have a special price for those attending the event who wish to stay there
